Employing video-editing skill in designing materials for Speaking class

This study sought to prove whether there is an inclination in students’ ability before and after video-editing treatments.This was carried out under the umbrella of quasi-experimental as it involved one group pretes-posttest design. There were 13 students chosen through procedure total sampling. They given a pretest make 3 videos—3 minutes duration each—in topic Describing People, Inviting Accepting Refusing Invitation. Later, six treatments given: three other about material Afterwards, post-test essentially similar with regarding procedural means. The data analyzed using SPSS 22 by employing formula normality test Z-Score perform hypothesis testing. results uncovered that null (H0) rejected alternative (Ha) consequently accepted because rvalue obtained from 2.63, which higher than rtable= 0.47 (df=11, α=0.05, right tailed). Additionlly, average score for samples applying video editing procedures 56.23, treatments, this incilned be 79.Then can concuded obtaining students' performance terms abilities reference design or speaking class has necessarily improved. finding implies best train teacher prospective teachers enable them good convenient teaching materials future where digital era transmerged into all pedagogical aspects.DOI: 10.26905/enjourme.v7i2.8817
